Terms & Conditions.
-
Fees are calculated and paid over an 11-month period, excluding December.
-
Our centre remains open for the full year, and we only close in December. Lessons continue during all other school holidays as per the normal schedule. Should you be away, we request you to advise us so that we can reschedule these missed lessons as catch-ups.
-
It is the responsibility of the parents/guardians to ensure that students attend all lessons. If a lesson cannot be attended, at least 2 hours’ notice must be given, and it is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to organise a make-up lesson at a suitable time. If a lesson is missed without notice, the lesson is forfeited.
-
Lessons are to be paid for upfront for the month. Invoices will be sent out by the 25th of each month and payment is to be made no later than the 1st of the following month. Fees may only be paid by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT); no cash or cheques will be accepted.
-
Fees are a monthly fee and are dependent on the options chosen. Any additional hours will be charged for over and above the monthly fee at a rate of R450 per hour.
-
If payment is not made by the due date, lessons will be suspended until the outstanding balance has been settled. All lessons suspended due to outstanding fees will be forfeited. Outstanding fees remain payable even after lessons are suspended. All charges incurred to recover unpaid fees will be for the client’s account. Interest may be charged on overdue accounts at a rate of 2% per month.
-
Should you wish to permanently cancel lessons, 30 days’ notice is to be issued in writing. Terminations with less than two weeks’ notice will be charged two weeks of lessons from the notification date.
-
Withdrawal notification must be submitted to the office at info@simplesolutionstuition.com. Failure to attend lessons does not qualify as notification. Failure to notify the office does not release the account holder from their financial obligation and is not an acceptable form of notification of intent to withdraw.
-
If a student has 4 consecutive no call/no shows, we will terminate the student’s lessons, release the student’s spot in the schedule, and the student will be charged for all 4 of the missed lessons. Students who withdraw at any time will forfeit any unused reschedules.
-
Simple Solutions Tuition reserves the right to refuse to enrol or teach any client. The client acknowledges that any property brought onto the premises of Simple Solutions Tuition is done so at their own risk and that Simple Solutions Tuition will accept no responsibility for any loss, theft, or damage to such property. All learning material provided to students is protected by South African trademark and copyright law.
-
No weapons, drugs, alcohol, or inappropriate material may be brought onto the premises of Simple Solutions Tuition.
-
Students should not behave in any manner that will affect the learning of other students during lessons and should treat all other students and the tutors with respect. Any disorderly behaviour will be brought to the attention of the learner’s parents. Continued disruptive behaviour may result in the student’s lessons being terminated.
-
Should a student wish to withdraw, they will NOT be entitled to a refund of any fees paid to Simple Solutions Tuition.
-
Students enrolled at the end of the calendar year will automatically be re-enrolled for the following year unless a written cancellation notice is submitted to info@simplesolutionstuition.com by 30 November. If no notice is received, the enrolment will continue, and the first invoice for the new year will be issued as per the regular billing cycle.
-
In the event that a tutor is unavailable, Simple Solutions Tuition reserves the right to assign a substitute tutor without prior notice.
-
Parents/guardians must ensure that students arrive on time, are prepared for lessons, and are reachable in case of emergencies.
-
Simple Solutions Tuition may take photos or videos during lessons for marketing and training purposes. If you do not consent to your child being included in such materials, please notify the office in writing.
